Oh what a summer...

August 24, 2017

As we approach the end of the school holidays it’s time to reflect on what an amazing season we’ve had. Lots of visitors from north of the border earlier in July as their school break up before they do in England.

Our sales have been up almost 75% on last year, so to all our visitors we’d like to say a huge ‘THANK YOU’.

The reviews you’ve left have been glowing! We received 36 in total and 31 of them were 5*.

We created our first ever video and it’s had some fantastic feedback, with over 500 views on Youtube and 6000 on Facebook

We submitted plans to dig a new fishing lake for 2018 to offer coarse fishing (which is different from the fly fishing we currently offer).

Fingers crossed we get planning approval from the council, we’ll keep you informed of our progress.

I've been building loads of new bbq's...

To make it more 'fun' I decided to time how long it takes to build one... then try and beat that time...

It started off at just over 10mins, but a few bbq's later I got in the zone and got it down to 7.12secs!

Oh, the fun I have!

When I've had time off this week, we had a family trip down to 'Monkey Forest' in Staffordshire.

It was just over an hour’s drive each way, but well worth it...

Alice (now 9 and a half months) loved it!

It's like being in a zoo but without any of the cages!

I'll put a link here: http://monkey-forest.com/

It's a fun way to spend a few hours if you get the chance.

Alice is very close to her first word now, and I think it's going to be "Pip" (our dog). She laughs her head off when she sees Pip running around!

She still can't quite crawl or walk just yet but I'm sure she'll get there soon.
