What time is check out?
What do I need to bring?
Everything that you’d normally bring on a camping trip except the tent. The most important thing to remember is your bedding (e.g. an under sheet, sleeping bags/ duvets and pillows), you’ll also need to bring additional airbeds or roll mats if bringing children. You’ll also need to bring your own food and drink (although we do provide free tea, coffee and hot chocolates – apart from the milk). Outdoor chairs are handy to bring so you can sit around the campfire.
Is there electricity in the Pods?
No, but there is in the nearby lodge.
What’s in the Pods?
2 single beds and mattresses and a battery powered light. Doors are lockable. You do need to bring your own bedding and any additional airbeds / mats / cots if bringing children.
Can I have a campfire?
Yes. Each Pod comes with its own fire pit / bbq. We sell firewood for £5 per bag and firelighters for £1.
Can I book pods next to each other?
Yes, if you book more than 1 Pod, we'll automatically make sure they're together.
CAN Dogs come along?
Yes, dogs are welcome. You just need to make sure they're well behaved (friendly with others and not constantly barking), kept on a lead at all times, picked up after and never left unattended in a Pod. A £5 per dog, per night surcharge applies - this can be added on when booking via the website.
IS FISHING REALLY FREE?
Yes. As the Camping Pods are a part of the Fishery, this means fishing is free when you camp with us. It is fly fishing only. You just need to bring your own gear and have a fishing license.
What is there to do?
Have a read through 'THE SITE' page of our website - link above
We have ample space in our Car Park. The car park is close to the Pods.
